The show was amazing! Beth Tweddle, Matt Lapinskas, Gareth Thomas, Kyran Bracken & Chico were the celebrities on ice with the international ice stars! The professional ice skaters included Dan Whiston, Brianne Delcourt, Colin Ratushniak & Jenna Smith. They are still touring the show, so go see it if you get the chance,or buy their dvd! Greater Manchester Marathon 2013 – Sunday 28th April

Yesterday was the Greater Manchester Marathon 2013 where many had a great run with many running for great causes! I was one of the volunteer marshals from the Hyde Village Striders posted at the 23 mile mark. Many ran past looking so fresh considering they were only 3 miles from the finish! When some people saw my camera they smiled, others instantly put their best action running pose on! I’d like to think my camera helped give people a boost for those last 3 miles, however Liz was also a great encouragement cheering the runners on! Congratulations to all running from the Hyde Village Striders & everyone else claiming their well deserved medal at the end! >>

Dog’s Fun Swim Photoshoot – Sat 13th April

We will be holing a unique photoshoot at Blossoms Animal Hydrotherapy Pool in Woodford, Cheshire on Sat 13th April. A 1/2hr fun swim with photos being taken from underwater and above! I’m hoping to find and capture some dogs who will dive as well as swim! If you’re looking to book this event please check you have the required forms filled out, including the ok by your vet. Fundraising for Louise / Win an Underwater Photoshoot!

As mentioned on the Facebook page Louise sadly lost her battle against cancer in December at only age 6. The family have connections with some friends of mine & were asking for items to be donated for a fair so they can raise money for a bench in memory of Louise. I thought it would be a good idea to design some mugs for people to buy and have used images I took at the South Lakes Wild Animal Park (with their permission!) 2 of the mugs need text adding – so I have created a competition where the best 2 suggestions can win an underwater Photoshoot: See full details on this link: Competition details & Mugs for sale

You can order your mugs and avoid postage costs by picking up free at a listed event; all of the profit will be going to Louise’s bench with any money left over split between the Macmillan Nurses, Candle Lighters and Ward 31 at Leeds General Hospital.

Suzanne Hadfield has organised a fund raising event at the Droylsden Football Club on 24th February, where lots will be happening including some great prizes for raffles & auctions! There are even more events taking place in the following months so its worth checking the event page/or adding yourself to the event to view regular updates!
